About the event

In this 3-part workshop series, we get to know and experience yoga as well as the voice and breath, and travel on the journey to our individual timbre, vibration and power. We also explore questions like ...

– What influence do emotions have on my body, my breath and my voice?

– Why can joy or positive emotions change my voice and volume enormously?

– How can I transform or even use unpleasant energies such as pain and anger?

– Where do I feel my resonance chambers, which I can facilitate to vibrate?

– How much stability / flexibility does my body need to support my voice / emotions?

With much joy and humor will we accompany you on the exploration and strengthening of your own individual vocal expression.

Melanie Forgeron – Biographical Notes:

The passion for music, voice and expression showed up very early in my life. I sang with the children's opera choir of my hometown Nurenberg, until my violin and music studies introduced me to solo singing. Today I am an opera- and song recital singer, travel a lot and embody a variety of roles and characters. Privately and at the music school in Küsnacht, I teach singing lessons and always find it great to convey people the joy and curiosity about their own voice, timbre and the growing scope. I put the focus on breath, because it carries the voice and of course on a keen body awareness, in it lies the strength and necessary energy. Voice is the expression of our soul, of our emotions, and it is a small sensitive organ that responds to all influences, such as emotions, temperature, hormonal events etc. You have to nurture and train your voice so that you can express yourself in a sonorous and powerful way. www.melanie-forgeron.com
